The Runaways, a short-lived series of manga by Brian K. Vaughan and Adrian Alphona, created their debut in July 2003 under Marvel Comics’ “Tsunami” brand. High volumes of trade collection sales saved its removal, and it returned in 2005.

Vaughan and Alphona leave the title after thirty more issues, and the Runaways went on fighting for a time before the group broke up.

The annual business meeting arranged by their rich parents was the only thing connecting these six normal children. Until an accident finding made the shocking reveal that their parents are members of the Pride, a covert terrorist group! For many years,

The Pride of America ruled the city of Los Angeles with an iron hold, affecting every criminal act.

Now that their actual nature have been showed, the Pride will do everything it takes to protect their company, even if it includes removing their own kids! Nico, Chase, Karolina, Gertrude, Molly, and Alex are now on the run from their horrible parents, and their only support system is one another.

II. No more The Runaways

Up until now, finding our Runaways has not been that difficult, given the fact that some Marvel events have made things more difficult to follow. This changed in 2010 with the events of Attack, which created the Hero Age as the new “status normal” for the Marvel Universe. It should be noted that this resulted to several optional issues in which the characters are just guests on sometimes.

The following is a list with important performances by different characters, both by themselves or in groups, though they aren’t always “The Runaways.” It takes the team a bit longer to get together again.
