James Tynion IV has scheduled an event called Fear State to wrap up his tenure as Batman.
Batman Fear State is a comic series published by DC Comics and released in 2021.
The story follows a heroic genre and revolves around supervillain like a Scarecrow, Batman, and a Catwoman.
In Batman Fear State, a Scarecrow is depicted as an evil character who wants to invade and rule the Gotham City using fear and powers. Along with the Scarecrow, other characters such as the Simon Saint and the Magistrate also intended to exercise their control over the city of Gotham by using a chemical toxin that was supposed to create a sense of fear in the people’s minds.
Also, there is yet another character, Mayor Christopher Nakano, who came with a mission to protect the city from the evil intentions and the rule of these creatures.
The story starts in the City of Gotham and the outlying areas of Bludhaven and Allentown, where the Scarecrow and Simon Saint try to gain control over the city of Gotham by the use of the element of fear.
In the story, the Scarecrow uses the Saint to learn and get an idea about the chemicals that can be used to create a fear toxin that can be used to control the minds of the people of Gotham City.
After the fear toxin was made, the Scarecrow betrayed the trust of the Saint and the magistrate and turned the people of the Gotham City against them.
As a result, the Saint again used his fear ideology to create a crisis in Gotham City, which adopted a systematic policy regime that continued for years.
